This company is ran by poor management, and there has been a considerably high turnover rate due to their lack of team development initiatives and inconsistent policies. Management will change a policy, like the schedules for the employees, and not really give a true reason why. It is as if management doesn't tell the truth to the employees, and keeps things to themselves just to fit their own agendas/agendas of others. Management will target certain employees in the Ops team for mistakes and bad practices, while not addressing the inadequacies seen in the team as a whole. One member could be a senior, who has been working for so long with bad habits/negligent practices and not get any scolding/reprimand, while a junior analyst would get scolded/ridiculed even when they learned everything from the senior analyst. Some senior analysts are not true leaders, as they would cover themselves while letting the juniors get fried by their direct managers. There are even managers that know this, as they have favorites in the team and allow exceptions for them, like wearing gym clothes to work, but expect you to wear the proper attire MANDATED by HR Dress Code Policy. Management has pure favoritism, and does not put the needs of other people on the table over a senior that has been there for them for many years. Management also is not interested in any of your endeavors, as they expect you to stay and deal with their bad practices for years just by giving you more money. If you desire to have a resource, such as a work-from-home laptop, they will lie and say it isn't in the budget, even though the company makes millions of dollars per year. The work-from-home policy is a joke, and they didn't take it seriously and in due time removed the program due to poor direction.

Former Employee - Analyst says

"There used to be someone in the market research team at IDC/ICE Data Services who is downright verbally abusive to junior peers. Being a ill/short tempered person, he would yell at people in front of everyone, demands immediate attention (act like he is entitled) and says false, negative about you in meeting just to make himself look good. Company does not provide training to managers like him on how to treat younger colleagues on the same team. People quit the team and senior mgmt did nothing to address it."

Former Employee - Analyst says

"Management leads with abuse. Company heads engage in unethical business practices."

Current Employee - Senior Associate says

"Long working hours. Non-stop, overloaded work. Nepotism. No work life balance. No career progression at all. Incompetent managers play politics to stay in job. If you want to screw your life and career, this company is the perfect place for you."

The work-from-home policy is a joke, and they didn't take it seriously and in due time removed the program due to poor direction. Also, certain managers are very disrespectful, and has cursed-off certain employees, including me, for mistakes in the office, like whipping children in the bedroom. When bringing such actions up to their boss, their boss simply disregards it and immediately sides with your manager, so you can forget getting any fair trials in the team. Management appoints management positions to people that are not fit to be leaders, and the pure nepotism/favoritism shows as clear as crystal in this Ops team. Management makes everything to be a joke if you have a concern, as they expect you to have a full resolution to fix it when escalated, even though it is THEIR jobs to rectify the issue. Management treats every individual that signs on the team to be exceptional, when the reality is that everyone learns differently and at different paces. If you are struggling and need extra assistance, then you can forget that as they will treat you like you are inferior. If you need training, extra resources, or more time to understand something, you can forget that too as they expect you to grow infinitely without providing any resources for you to succeed. Unless you are exceptional, management will lie to you and set you up for failure; especially if they do not like you. Management will state that you can take your time, but then expect you to have senior knowledge in two years time. They don't outline clear expectations for the present, but can talk all day about what they want you to ultimately be, as if they don't need to be a part of the process. Also one last thing, you can forget about getting personal life balance resolved, as management will make exceptions for senior analysts while punishing you for breaking policies by mistake, even when the senior is openly doing that on the daily intentionally. My direct supervisor was a pure bully, and made my work environment toxic. I cannot speak for everyone else, but he complains about his traffic commute almost daily, and comes in with a nasty attitude if you made a mistake even in the slightest. He expected me to do the work of a senior, while allowing the actual senior analysts to skate by doing less work for more pay. I have escalated these things some seniors would do, and he would disregard it and not pay attention to them, even though THEY are the problem of why certain habits never go away. He also generated projects that served little to no value for the employee growth; not a good project manager. He was a terrible manager who never represented me, and I was not happy working under him and the other managers. Thus, I resigned to bring my life back into balance. The Ops team may be doing well now, but at this rate management will crash and burn, leaving only the "leaders" on the ship wreck remains with no SOS. I write this because everyone deserves to know the truth before signing onto a team."

Current Employee - Systems Engineer says

"No growth. All daily grind work. No real systems engineering work. All system administration. No work/life balance."

Former Employee - Senior Software Developer says

"- Very toxic work place (verbal for example) - Work-life balance is nonexistent (strongly encourage to eat lunch at your desk is just the tip of the iceberg example) - Absolutely no WFH policy (unless you want to WFH after you leave the office after working hours which is also encouraged) - Pay is way below standards especially for software development - With two weeks left in 2017 they cut everyone's stock bonuses and refused to pay them out for that year (unless you were upper management and above) that was 20% of my compensation package which was COMBINED already below industry standard - Career path was defined some finally in 2016 but its mainly for show - small bumps in pay and a better title with tons more work! - Hiring here is a joke now - grab college grads who barely know what they are doing so they don't have to pay them much - as a senior developer I ended up training new people every 6 months to a year because of this strategy - almost no new people stayed very long - Turnover is huge - on my team alone I saw MANY existing co-workers leave and many more who were hired/left in my 3 years - on a team that maxed out at around a dozen people. This seemed to be a trend in many departments near mine - The stress, toxic environment, no work-life balance, and constant abuse over my years here did a lot of damage to my physical and mental health - I can not recommend to anyone that they work here! There are many good places to work in Atlanta - this is NOT one of them!"

Current Employee - Analyst says

"I've been part of ICE multiple times from different companies they have purchased and it just always gets worst. You lose your better benefits, PTO days, etc. They just expect you the fix the mess they made by buying all these companies. I'm not sure how the DOJ & FTC let them get away with it as they are becoming a conglomerate."

Current Employee - Lead Developer says

"The company's hire management is not bothered about your work-life balance and don't care how much workload you are handling. Company policy is to overload you with tons of work and expect you to work late to get work done, Working late is not an exception but a norm here. Folks tend to stay late to make an impression to there managers and are suitable rewarded. If you have kids and elderly's to take care of at home, God save you from the wrath of your manager. Company decided to remove equity part from packages retroactively. It's like you work for one month and at the end of the month you are told - "Oh btw, we are only going to pay for 20 days instead of 30 days". What's amazing is NO ONE raised there voice to oppose the decision. ICE surely knows how to suppress any aggression or opposition. You are literally on the mercy of manager and most resort to buttering and worshipping. To their credit these tact's work very well."

Former Employee - Sales Executive says

"Too many to list but not being able to work remotely is the top."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"The culture is terrible. If you succeed you won't receive any thanks. You were hired because they thought you were smart and success is expected of you. If you fail, you'll be fired without hesitation because they don't care. Don't expect fanfare, assistance, training, or much of anything. You're just another cog in the wheel. You'll be replaced when you break, fail, or whenever they feel like it. The HR department is just awful. They exist solely to protect the interests of the company and not represent the interests the employees in any way. There is no concept of employee assistance, development, succession, etc. The lack of understanding even basic people management is apparent in the review process which is 100% geared against the employee, or the joke of a "survey" they send when people leave the company. There is no follow up, no in person interview, because the outcome isn't viewed as relevant. HR is just happy you're gone. In general the technology is falling behind, or at least it was while I was there. Very slow to embrace new technology, no use of consultants or outside expertise, because they believe ICE is the greatest thing since sliced bread, (it isn't.) Death by spreadsheet, decades old technology in some instances. Things aren't upgraded because the teams are so spread thin they can't do anything other than just maintain or integrate from the most recent acquisition which averages about every 6 months. You'll be working nights and weekends routinely. If you want a life, don't work here. Again, you're a cog in a wheel, no one cares if you burn out. You'll be replaced. ICE paid better than most, we all made the deal with the devil and lived with the consequences. I don't recall speaking with anyone that actually enjoyed working there."

owner of American Stock Exchange NYSE (Former Employee) says

"Not an interesting environment to work in. They have quite long hours and managers are not flexible in providing flexi-time. A lot of favouritism in promotions. Hard work is not recognised."

Security Engineer (Former Employee) says

"When you interview there they are going to promise you the world in the form of a bonus. This is how that works... the bonus goes over 3 years, they use that to keep you there. Your bonus however isn't going to happen. You see your manager gets a larger bonus for taking yours away. It wasn't always this way but the recent culture has destroyed this company. Run while you can."

Anonymous (Current Employee) says

"The fraternity atmosphere of the organization was completely toxic. Get some experience, don't bend over for anyone, collect your bonus, then search for a company that truly invest in the health of the employee/company.There are no positive experiences to recallThere are no positive experiences to recall"

Data Analyst (Current Employee) says

"Working for ICE is horrible. They constantly buy new companies and then consolidate, which ends up leading to a ton of layoffs. They offer no job advancement, just lateral movement within the company, which isn't very easy since most managers will try to stop you from leaving their team. Most managers and directors have no clue what they're doing and just have their employees do all the work for them and take all the credit. The company is poorly run and they don't compensate much, but expect you to work way more than youre paid to do. You also only start with 10 vacation days per year until youve veen with them for 5 years.Dope holiday party twice a yearPoor management, no advancement, low pay"

"You are simply a cog in a complex machine. If you go to work with the expectation that you are just a machine required to do the job at hand, you will love it there.Free gymWeekend work"

Senior Supervisor - Tape Management & Shipping (Former Employee) says

"I do not have any pleasant things to say about ICE! I ended up working for them because they purchased my previous company. At that point in time, we realized we were a redundant part of the company that would not be around long! When we were let go, it was without an exit interview and nothing was explained to us regarding COBRA coverage and how we would go about signing up for it. Sadly, my feeling is they don't concern themselves with employees once they're gone, regardless of the length of their tenure with the company."

Manager (Current Employee) says

"As the company has matured, the cost-cutting has become more aggressive. While one is unlikely to ever find an organization with a more talented workforce, it comes with many costs. The constant threat of being fired, the recent elimination of stock grants so most employees took a massive pay cut, long hours, zero work-life balance, but aside from that you get free coffee and soda. Senior people are being cleared out for no reason other than to hire junior people at below market rates and undercut salaries. It's a crucible, not for the faint of heart. The starting salary is attractive, but the longer one works there, the worse it is for the advancement of your career. Most of the managers exhibit blatant favoritism and discrimination in project assignments and thus promotions, so if you're not in the favored group, you have zero chance of advancement.Good starting payNo work life balance, long hours, big brother treatment of employees"

Payroll Administrator (Former Employee) says

"This is what I observed. Most of the Sr managers and directors exhibit blatant favoritism and discrimination , so if you're not in the favored group, you will be fired. I worked in the payroll group, enjoyed the time working with someone from NY, the other person in payroll is a Heavy smoker and was not to friendly. The payroll manager was nice but sometimes she can be short. The workload was not enough for the payroll team. Overall the company was okay. I did learned a lot from the person from NY and the manager. I now have my payroll certification.Office suppliesBLatant favoritism and discrimination- No telecommuting"

Network Engineer (Former Employee) says

"The company I worked for was acquired by Intercontinental Exchange and 75% of us were let go."

Senior Developer (Former Employee) says

"Terrible work/life balance. Last manager was a very very bad manager who was constant source of criticism. Had a very good manager before was transferred, but still avery hard place to work. Know company was had a great deal of turn over"

Sr. Network Engineer (Current Employee) says

"No work-life environment. No open mind management Do not foster innovation Toxic environment created by middle managers Management do not foster team building"

Receptionist (Former Employee) says

"This company does not treat people well. I know an employee who worked there six years and they overnighted her personal items to her house. Blatant bias in the HR department . Upper management has no shame with the FAVORITISM.LocationBackstabbing, Cliquish and TOXIC ENVIRONMENT"

Fixed Income Data Analyst/Part-time Trainer (Current Employee) says

"I have worked in this company for more than 5 years. While the overall working environment is fairly relaxed and easygoing despite the busy nature of the job, there is very little career advancement or salary increases commensurate with experience. The culture of 'who you know' not 'what you know' is encouraged."

Contractor (Former Employee) says

"Numbers driven with little room for process improvement. They tend to promote from within which is a good thing. Seems that the contractors are held more accountable for the work than the full-time employees.cafeteriano process improvement"

Compliance Advisor (Former Employee) says

"International company with good prospects for a career advancement only if in the right team. I found the environment and the way of working unnecessarily complex and received little support by my seniors.salary and benefitscorporate culture"

SENIOR BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYST/BUSINESS ANALYST (Former Employee) says

"The pay was good, workers were good, the culture was poor. Management was political and continuously focused on assessing blame rather than evolving with process improvements and controls. The environment was more reactionary and not proactive."

Analyst (Former Employee) says

"They hire employees for a specific purpose and most stay in that role for the length of their career at ICE. When management positions become available, they hire from the outside."

Business Analyst (Current Employee) says

"Bought by ICE in April last year. ICE seem to be a good company and IDC need sufficient investment and removal of deadwood before it can complete with larger data vendors."

IT Analyst (Current Employee) says

"ICE is an emerging financial giant. With that said the work is very fast paced and stressful. This company has a high employee turnover and there is no work life balance."

sreedevi radhakrishnan says

"This review is for an international order. I cannot speak to the quality of the domestic orders but their international ordering is a mess! I ordered 2 identical nosepins before the lockdown. I can understand that the lockdown posed problems so I waited patiently for things to open up. During this time someone from their international orders team reached out to me offering to personally help me out. I followed up several times and eventually they let me know that the nosepins I had ordered are in a warehouse where someone has tested positive for covid so they have me options for other nosepins that can ship sooner (this is already 3 months late). I immediately responded with the ones that seemed to be closest to my original choice. They said they’ll place the order and again no communication. I reached back out after one week and they said they will ship it within a week. I emphasized several times that the order is for TWO nosepins that MUST be delivered TOGETHER. The person I was talking to confirmed this to be the case. I also wanted to confirm this from customer support so I tried to get someone from customer support to talk to me. This was challenging enough given the time difference. They kept saying they’ll have someone call me back. This was a LIE. No one called me. Finally when I could get hold of an agent he said the order is for One and not Two. Again, I went back to the person from the international orders department and he “assured” me that the order is for two. After all this wait and so much back and forth I finally received my order and guess what? It has just one nosepin!! Caratlane, if you monitor this space, please have the decency to run an honest business. If you cannot handle international orders, do not provide that option on your website. If you want to give people a “white glove” service by personally reaching out, at least don’t half ass your way through it. I have never in my life dealt with customer service that was so appalling."

Sundeep Shetty says

"Worst customer service they have been a pain in a**. I had ordered a nose pin & have been waiting for it to arrive since ages. The occasion for which I bought has also gone ????. I will never recommend them ????"

VISHNU says

"i buy a soiltare ring in platinum metail. platinum of ring take shape eliptical. now every one can understand what quality the supplying to buyers."

Vaishnavi Ramesh says

"Dodged a bullet by not buying internationally. They ship internationally, but should there be concerns with the item, returns are allowed only when one 'travels to India' in person, and not by mail. I don't know how someone can buy with that risk. I wish they'd revise their policies for international customers"
